Injury Liability Waiver
By participating in the Blue Ribbon Walk, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms regarding injury liability:
Assumption of Risk
I understand that participation in this event involves walking, outdoor activities, and potential risks, including but not limited to:
Tripping, falling, or other accidental injuries
Weather-related conditions (heat, rain, wind, etc.)
Interaction with other participants, volunteers, and event equipment
I voluntarily assume full responsibility for any risk of injury, illness, or harm that may occur during or as a result of participating in this event.
Waiver of Liability
I, on behalf of myself, my heirs, assigns, and representatives, hereby release, waive, and discharge Gilliard and Company, Live Like Locals, Chatham County Parks and Recreation, event organizers, sponsors, and affiliates from any and all claims, liabilities, damages, or losses, including but not limited to personal injury, medical expenses, or property damage, arising from my participation in this event.
Medical Treatment
In the event of a medical emergency, I authorize event organizers to secure medical treatment on my behalf if I am unable to do so. I understand that I am responsible for any medical expenses incurred.


Liability Disclaimer for Lost or Stolen Items
Gilliard and Company, Live Like Locals, and Chatham County Parks and Recreation are not responsible for any lost, stolen, or damaged personal items during the Blue Ribbon Walk.
Participant Responsibility:
Attendees, vendors, and participants are responsible for safeguarding their personal belongings, merchandise, and equipment.
It is recommended that vendors and sponsors take necessary precautions, including securing valuable items and monitoring their booths at all times.
Liability Waiver:
By attending or participating in this event, individuals agree to release Gilliard and Company, Live Like Locals, Chatham County Parks and Recreation, event organizers, and affiliates from any claims related to lost, stolen, or damaged property.


Photo and Video Consent Form

By attending the Blue Ribbon Walk, I understand that photos and videos may be taken during the event for promotional, educational, and fundraising purposes. I grant permission to Gilliard and Company, Live Like Locals, Chatham County Parks and Recreation, event organizers, and affiliates to use my likeness as follows:
Consent to Use Media
I hereby grant full permission for my image, likeness, and voice to be photographed, recorded, or filmed during the event. I consent to the unrestricted use of these materials for:
Social media, websites, and digital marketing
Press releases, news articles, and media publications
Promotional materials, fundraising campaigns, and future event marketing
I understand that I will not receive compensation for the use of my image, and I waive any right to inspect or approve the final materials.
